Everything in the Marchesa collection looked as light as a feather, as fluffy as a cloud and as beautiful as a dream. Designer duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig continued to wow the world with creations fit for royalty and the ladies of the red carpet. The gowns were ethereally feminine with elements that just celebrate the beauty of the female form and meticulous craftsmanship. Layer upon layer of champagne tulle, and metallic silk and nude chiffon were adorned by intricate embroidery in the brightest scarlet and gold. There was even another incarnation of Blair Waldorf's infamous prom dress, which of course was another one of the duo's ornate creations. I get a sense of Oriental decadence coming through as well, with some pieces channelling the allure of Scheherazade. There really isn't much more to be said when it comes to Marchesa's Fall collection, except for they nailed the hell out of it.
